In 2014, John Pritchard, former Olympic oarsman,  rowed the length of the Mississippi River, 2,320 miles from  Lake Itasca to New Orleans in a Victorian Thames skiff, a journey that took 80 days  and raised over $1,000,000 for the charity Right to Play.

I was lucky enough to accompany him for much of the way as his photographer.

You can read about this exhilarating and arduous adventure in The Great River Rowed.
