We spent the rest of the day doing a variety of activities. William went to a museum all about the local language of Ladin which he will obviously learn in due course! Some went on another walk and other went to the Geological museum in Predazzo, a wonderful space but I came out more confused than when I went in.
We finished off with another splendid meal at Malga Roncac who not only fed us well but delivered us from and to the hotel when the taxi failed to turn up.
There were some hilarious reminiscences of a holiday in Yugoslavia in 1970 when Kit’s german mis-translated the cost of the fish by a factor of ten and then they could not pay the restaurant bill and had to surrender their passport and watches until they had settled up the following day.
